Mark E. Shure concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy. Mr. Shure has represented several financial institutions in numerous class-action suits across the country, as well as numerous corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships in a variety of commercial disputes, seeking or defending against a wide-range of legal and equitable relief. Mr. Shure has also represented numerous debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings around the country.
Mr. Shure is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Seventh, Ninth, Eleventh and District of Columbia Circuits in addition to all state and federal courts in Illinois. He was formerly a partner in the Chicago office of McDermott, Will & Emery and a principal in the law firm of Keating & Shure, Ltd. Mr. Shure graduated cum laude from Loyola University School of Law in 1984, where he served as managing editor of the Chicago Law Journal.
