Janet Wagner represents commercial banks, institutional lenders, insurance companies and other lenders in a wide variety of commercial and real estate financing transactions. Lending transactions have included loans to owners and operators of long term health care facilities, loans to developers and other business entities for various commercial and industrial projects, acquisitions of real estate in various stages of development, commercial and home builder loans for single family home developments, townhome and condominium projects, mixed use developments, industrial buildings, hotels, conversions, multi-state projects and other real estate projects as well as loans secured by boats and airplanes.
Janet also represents parties in commercial real estate transactions and other commercial transactions including sales and purchases of business and counseling clients in legal issues arising in the day to day operation of their businesses.
Janet returned to Loyola for an LL.M. in Child and Family Law as a result of her great interest and passion for children’s legal issues. She takes a special pleasure in representing parties in residential real estate transactions.
Janet was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2000 after earning her J.D. from Loyola. University Chicago School of Law. She graduated cum laude from Mundelein College in January, 1993 with a B.A. in Philosophy.
